The Journey Behind the Designs
As part of London Craft Week, Azza Fahmy Jewellery presents The Anatomy of Craftsmanship, an immersive installation that brings this journey to life. Inviting visitors into the world behind the pieces, the experience reveals the layers of thought, care, and artistry that shape each design, from its earliest concept to its final expression.
The installation unfolds as a series of 4 chapters, each offering a glimpse into the evolving life of a piece. It begins with Design Philosophy, where inspiration is gathered and translated into form through sketching and storytelling. From there, the journey moves into Manufacturing, a more intimate look at how each creation comes into being, guided by precision and collaboration.
The experience then deepens into Craftsmanship, where time-honoured techniques such as filigree and hand-piercing are brought to the forefront; a reflection of the brand’s trademarks. The journey concludes with The Hero Piece, where the design is presented in its most refined state, reflecting the depth of process behind it.
